Hello everyone!
I am returning to Hanover from a trip to Brazil and Argentina. I am pleased to report that we continue to make strong progress in building the Tuck brand in Latin America.
Kristine Laca (Tuck’s Latin American representative who lives in the region), Sharon Tulley (from Tuck’s PR office), and I spent four busy days in Buenos Aires and São Paulo. We met with alumni, prospective students, MBA advisors, business school deans, and the press. Here are some highlights from the trip:
In Argentina we met with several reporters from El Cronista, Clarín, and iProfesional. In the evening, Tuck hosted an Admissions Information Session with over 20 prospective students and later a wonderful dinner with our alumni.
In Brazil, Tuck and IE Business School (Spain) co-hosted an informative roundtable discussion with deans of well-known Brazilian business schools. The exchange was designed to share trends and to promote greater cooperation and exchange of ideas among schools. Joining us were business schools from all parts of Brazil: FGV-EAESP, INSPER, FGV-EBAPE, IBMEC-RJ, COPPEAD-UFRG, and Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC)
Additionally, I met with several Brazilian press including reporters from Exame, Voce SA, Valor Econômico, Folha de São Paulo, Istoé Dinheiro and Revista Capital Aberto. In the evening we hosted another Tuck Admissions Information Session with over 30 attendees and an alumni cocktail party. Finally, IE Business School and Tuck co-hosted a second alumni event with an informative panel discussion about “Sustainability and its importance in the world of business.”
